Tears Flow As Hundreds Bid Farewell To Addo-Kufuor Jr
Tears flowed as the remains of the late Kwame Sekyere Addo-Kufuor jnr, Chief Executive Officer, R.I.S. Mining Consult and a former President of the Ghana Chamber of Mines, were laid to rest on Thursday, December 19.
There was a full house at the St. Cyprian’s Anglican Cathedral in Kumasi where a burial service was held. The late Kwame Addo-Kufuor jnr, 58, was the son of former Defence Minister, Dr Kwame Addo Kufuor.
Personalities
In attendance were personalities including Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Second Lady Samira Bawumia, Former President John Agyekum Kufour, Chief of Staff Akosua Fremah Osei Opare , Apagyahene Nana Owusu Afriyie IV, Vice Presidential Candidate of the NPP in the 2024 elections Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, and Minister for Lands and Natural Resources Samuel Abu Jinapor.
Tributes
There were tributes from his family, children, Prempeh College classmates, and mentor Sir Sam Jonah.
All the tributes described him as an extraordinary person whose works impacted the nation and many people.
