Otumfuo Celebrates Culture and Charity at Phenomenaa Gallery in Poland
Ahead of his arrival in Katowice, Poland, on May 29, 2026, for the distinguished Golf Games, His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II made a special stop at the Phenomenaa Gallery, where he was granted an exclusive private tour.
His Majesty was graciously guided through an extraordinary collection of artworks and artifacts, generously donated by esteemed creators for auction at this year’s Top Charity Gala 2026. The visit underscored the enduring harmony between culture, philanthropy, and tradition.
Background
Phenomenaa Gallery was born from a desire to tell stories through art. Each artwork presented is part of Omenaa Mensah’s personal journey—encounters with artists, discoveries made during numerous travels, and experiences that connect continents, cultures, and emotions.
The gallery builds a bridge between Africa and Europe, showcasing contemporary art by artists from Sub-Saharan Africa, the African diaspora, and creators from around the world who explore themes of identity, memory, beauty, and transformation.
Phenomenaa Gallery is also a platform for education, dialogue, and collaboration, dedicated to artists, architects, and designers. A portion of the gallery’s proceeds supports projects led by the OmenaArt Foundation, which promote Polish and African artists and foster artistic education.
