KGL Foundation Renovates OPD at Accra Psychiatric Hospital to Boost Mental Health Care

The KGL Foundation has successfully completed the renovation of the Out-Patient Department (OPD) at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital, further demonstrating its dedication to enhancing mental health services and supporting patient well-being across Ghana.

The refurbishment is part of the Foundation’s broader mental health initiative, aimed at creating a more dignified, welcoming, and patient-friendly environment for those seeking psychological and psychiatric care.

At the commissioning ceremony, Elliot Dadey, CEO of KGL Foundation, explained that the project was driven by a desire to create a lasting positive impact on mental health care and to inspire greater investment in the sector. He emphasized that a well-designed physical space can significantly aid patient recovery, and noted that the upgraded facility now offers a more supportive atmosphere for treatment and healing.
