World Business Leaders Meet In Ghana Again: Confirmed For August 2022

The much anticipated ‘World Meets Ghana Investors’ Forum and Executive Dinner Ball’ that has become popular among Smart business leaders and influential investors of global repute who never downplay importance of the creation and maintenance of networks in business growth has been postponed to August 2022.

Originally planned to have take place this year, organizers, E on 3 have been compelled to shift the novel event to next year because of the COVID-19 effects and challenges it creates in travelling the globe.

Interestingly, patrons who have already confirmed their participation in the event for this year from countries across the world have declined cancelling their confirmation but rather asked it should be deferred to the next meeting date which is August 2022.

The expected participants include some of the most successful and influential business leaders, Chief Executive Officers, policy makers, foreign envoys, traditional rulers, top bankers and the top notch financial engineers.

The 2022 edition of the event would happen under the theme ‘Exploring Investment Opportunities in Ghana as a Gateway to Africa’, and in attendance would be top business executives, seasoned politicians, eminent traditional leaders and the clergy, among several other guests.

This international business event is held every two years to strategically attract all the big business players across the globe, with the aim of exposing them to the numerous investment and business opportunities that are available across the diverse communities in Ghana – and also for them to express abiding interests in Business partnerships.

The idea is for participants to interact and discuss policies and programmes as well as positive ideas that generate vibrant businesses opportunities and help create wealth and improve livelihoods of people in all communities in Ghana.

The forum targets businesses and personnel from the sectors of Energy, Agribusiness, Oil and Gas Extraction, Mining and Quarrying, Banking and Finance, Aviation and Manufacturing.Other sectors are Information (Media and IT), Real Estate Development, Business Process Outsourcing, Educational Services, Import/Export Wholesale and Retail Trade and Project Finance.

Under the aegis of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II – the maiden edition of the forum was held in the Ashanti Regional capital of Kumasi in 2019, as part of events marking the 20-year milestone of the enstoolment of the Asantehene.

The event had two installments;the Investors Forum and the Executive Dinner Ball, which were held at Golden Tulip Kumasi City Hotel and the Manhyia Palace respectively.

Speakers at the Executive Dinner Ball held on May 3rd to 4th, 2019, included Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Ghana’s Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta and Prof. Tal Edgars, Group Executive Chairman GBSH Consult, among others.

The event was also attended by 31 Embassies (Envoys) in the country. They include envoys from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, India, Netherlands, France, Turkey, Japan, Zambia, Nigeria, Cote D’Ivoire and Niger, just to mention a few, all participated in the ‘World Meets Ghana Investors’ Forum and Executive Dinner Ball’ alongside policy makers and business leaders.

The ‘World Meets In Ghana’ Forum is powered bythe E ON 3 Group – a leading business solution and investment company in Ghana and the Manhyia Palace.

Dr. Francis Ashong-Katai, the Project Coordinator of E ON 3 Group, on his part, said Ghana has reaped several benefits, following the first edition of the World Meets in Ghana Investors’ Forum and Executive Dinner Ball in 2019.
He touted Ghana as a stable country, with high democratic credentials, with sterling capacity globally to attract investors. In addition, he pointed out, the placing of the headquarters of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA) in Accra adds impetus to Ghana’s credentials.

Dr. Ashong-Katai noted that the E ON 3 Group has a strategic programme to make Ghana the gateway to Africa in the area of business and investments, stressing that his group’s positive plans for the country was on the right course.

The event organizers, The E ON 3 Group expressed appreciation to some reputable institutions and organizations, whose sponsorship packages, supported to make the maiden edition of the forum in Kumasi a historic and landmark event worth writing home about.
