Minister declares Tuesday as a public holiday

The Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery has declared Tuesday, July 20, 2021 as a statutory public holiday to mark the Eid-ul-Adha celebration.
According to a statement signed by Mr. Dery, Eid-ul-Adha day should be observed as a holiday throughout the country.
The statement reads, “The general public is hereby informed that Tuesday, 20th July 2021 which marks Eid-ul-Adha, is a Statutory Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country”.
