Otumfuo Returns Tomorrow; Security Services to Host Ceremonial Parade and Salute in His Honour

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, will be welcomed back from his highly successful official trip to the United States with a ceremonial parade and salute upon his arrival at Prempeh I International Airport in Kumasi on Thursday, September 3, the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has announced.

In a statement issued on Tuesday evening, the KMA said an elaborate programme has been arranged to receive His Majesty. “Upon his arrival at the Prempeh I International Airport, His Majesty will be accorded a ceremonial welcome by the security services, including a parade and the taking of the ceremonial salute,” the statement read.
