Napo condemns Mahama for attacking religious leaders
Matthew Opoku Prempeh, known as ‘Napo’, who is the running mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has strongly criticized former President John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) over empty policies.
He stated that instead of presenting policies for voters to consider, Mahama is traveling across the country, making speeches filled with insults and accusations against innocent individuals.
Napo specifically condemned Mahama for recently attacking religious leaders who prayed for the NPP’s Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, without any reason.
He expressed disappointment that after eight years in opposition, Mahama has not learned from his past and is not running a campaign focused on issues for the upcoming December 7 elections.
He remarked that Mahama has not proposed any credible policies that would justify a return to power.
Speaking to Ghanaians, including students in Memphis, USA, Napo warned voters against supporting Mahama and NDC candidates, stating that their future would be at risk if the NDC regained power.
Napo emphasized that political parties should be elected to implement better policies for the country’s progress. He criticized Mahama and the NDC for their poor leadership while in office.
To ensure the nation’s continued prosperity, he urged voters to support Dr. Bawumia, highlighting that under the NPP, Ghana has not faced a fuel crisis in eight years.
“Let’s vote massively to retain the NPP and Dr. Bawumia in political office so that the developmental gains secured would be protected,” he said.
