The Ghana Football Association’s player status committee has lifted the transfer ban placed on premier league giants, Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The Kumasi-based club was dealt a heavy blow by the Player Status Committee in January following the committee’s decision to sanction the Porcupine Warriors from making new signings until June of 2022.
The club was found guilty of breaching players’ contracts on a number of occasions, an allegation the premier league club always denied.
Following a successful appeal by the club, the Player Status Committee decided to lift the ban to allow the Porcupine Warriors to make player purchases in the second transfer window.
The second window opened on February 16 and will close at 11:59 pm on Thursday, March 18, 2021.
