Bawumia Electrifies Bono Region; Promises A Ghana Anchored On New Ideas
Bono Region demonstrated massive love for NPP presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia when he took his campaign to the region last week.
The massive welcome gave an indication that the region will once again go with the NPP in this year’s general elections.
On Friday, the presidential candidate was in the Berekum East, Sunyani East and Sunyani West Constituencies where thousands defied the rains and scorching sun to welcome him.

“ I was left pleasantly surprised as the leaders and ordinary persons on the streets excitedly chanted the policies and programmes a Bawumia Presidency would implement, including accelerated road development, establishment of District Agric Mechanization Centres, free tertiary education for PWDs, major infusion of solar power into Ghana’s energy mix, and many more,” Dr Bawumia said in a statement on his social media handles.
“Together, we will implement new ideas, bold solutions and foster a mindset of possibilities,” he added.
New ideas
A day earlier , Dr Bawumia was in the Jaman North, Jaman South and Berekum West constituencies.
Speaking at various engagements, he shed more light on his vision to build a Ghana anchored on new ideas and bold solutions.
He expressed gratitude to the chiefs, other leaders and the people for their enthusiastic embrace of the Ghana he envisions in the very near future, and the suggestions on how to make the ideas even more tailored to address the needs of the ordinary Ghanaian.
