Vice President Joins Otumfuo to Watch Black Stars Opener in Canada — High Commission Confirms

The Ghana High Commission in Canada has confirmed that Vice President Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang will join Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, to watch Ghana’s opening FIFA World Cup match against Panama in Toronto on June 17.

A flyer posted by the High Commission featuring Otumfuo, the Vice President, and Ghana’s High Commissioner to Canada, Professor Dora Francisca Edu-Buandoh, calls on all Ghanaians in Canada to join them for the match.

Otumfuo, currently in the United States, will travel to Canada on June 14 to begin a four-day visit specifically for the Ghana-Canada World Cup Business Summit. Before the match, the Asantehene will visit the team’s camp to inspire them to victory.
