Tepahene presents victory cloth to NAPO; Asks him to wear it to his palace when he becomes Vice President

The Tepahene, Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem, has presented a special victory cloth to the NPP presidential running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, as he supports his boss, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to go into battle in the General Election.

The Omanhene asked Dr Opoku Prempeh, popularly named NAPO, to wear the cloth to his palace when he becomes Vice President in January, 2025.

The presentation of the victory cloth was made when NAPO paid a courtesy call on the Omanhene as part of his campaign tour of the Ahafo North constituency of the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, August 21. Nana Ampem also donated a ram to the running mate.

‘One of us’
Acknowledging the royal status of NAPO, the Omanhene said, “As one of us, we cannot turn our back at you. Tepa will fully supports you and Dr Bawumia to deliver.”

Nana Ampem commended the running mate for his generosity, and urged him to keep up the spirit.

Appreciation
NAPO expressed appreciation to the Omanhene for the donation and kind words. He was encouraged by the support and love shown the NPP. He urged all to go out and vote massively for Dr Bawumia to lead Ghana to its next level of transformation.

The running mate also canvassed strongly for the NPP Parliamentary Candidate, Eric Nana Agyemang Prempeh.
