Incorruptible Bawumia will fight corruption without fear or favour – NAPO
Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the presidential running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has vouched for the incorruptibility of the party’s flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. “The flagbearer I serve is not corrupt, he has never been corrupt, and he never will be,” he stated.
Receiving copies of Manasseh Azure Awuni’s new book, “The President Ghana Never Got”, on behalf of Dr Bawumia and himself, in Accra on Tuesday, August 13, Dr Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as Napo, said, Dr Bawumia is a man of integrity who genuinely cares for the country. “Dr Bawumia has been unequivocal in his determination to fight corruption without fear or favour, ill-will or malice because of his proven incorruptibility,” he stated.
Media responsibility
Dr Opoku Prempeh urged Manasseh and the media fraternity to be circumspect and exercise a great deal of responsibility in their reportage and expression of opinions as the country strives to deepen democracy.
He said his doors remain open for open and frank discussions on every subject matter that seeks to move the nation forward.

Dr Opoku Prempeh was pleased to receive the book, and promised to quickly read it and acquaint himself with the contents. “I love reading, and I will definitely go through the entire book and share my thoughts with you. I’m also working on a few books to tell my story as Education Minister and Energy Minister,” he added.
