Hearts of Oak Supporters Give Kosta Papić A New Name
The coaching menace of Accra Hearts of Oak has calmed down since the coming in of Kosta Papić. The preseason of the team saw turbulence in their coaching department.
One may conclude that the confusion caused was because the board wanted something better for the team.
Odoom knew well that his stay with the Oak Tree giants was short. It became clearer when the Portuguese, Vas Pinto arrived in the country.
After two matches in the league, Odoom paved way for the second coming of Papić. Papić has been able to manage seven points out of twelve. He has played four matches with two wins, one draw and one loss.
This performance seems to be convincing and appealing to Hearts of Oak fans and has led them to nickname the coach.
The supporters of the club now call him ‘Ababio’. In the Akan dialect, it means reincarnated.
The supporters believe that the last coach to lead them to their last GPL trophy was Papić, irrespective of his sack before the end of the league season and they are confident that he will replicate same this season.
