“Laho”, the hit single by afrobeats star Shallipopi, recently got a remix by Burna Boy, which has sparked mixed reactions from fans.
The Grammy-winning artist took to his Instagram stories to provide some background on the song.
According to Burna Boy, “Laho II,” which was released on April 25, 2025, was recorded before Shallipopi’s solo version. However, due to difficulties in clearing the song, the solo version was released first.

This was actually the original version, It just couldn’t be cleared for the time he wanted to release cuz it clashed with other releases that had to do with me.
