Black Sherif earns MTV EMA nomination
Young Ghanaian musician Black Sherif continues to succeed as he adds another feather in his cap with a nomination in the Best African Act category at the 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards.
This year’s awards ceremony will come off on Sunday, November 13 in Düsseldorf, Germany, to honour the achievements of international artistes with prestigious prizes and memorable appearances by music legends.
Black Sherif is facing a stiff competition from Ayra Star (Nigeria), Burna Boy (Nigeria), Tems (Nigeria), Zuchu (Tanzania) and Mnike (South Africa) in the Best African Act category.
Already, Blacko is garnering international attention with his new The Villain I Never Was album and topping charts, hitting billboards and setting new records for Ghanaian music.
While Blacko did not win his first BET Award, the global traction for his blossoming brand cannot be overlooked.
Black Sherif continues to penetrate the global music front with The Villain I Never Was album which continues to receive a great deal of praise from music followers across the world.
The 14-track album features Nigerian artiste Burna Boy, and offers listeners engaging listening experiences.
