Stonebwoy Locks in Christmas Eve for 2025 BHIM Festival Relaunch
Afro-dancehall star Stonebwoy has announced a new date for this year’s BHIM Festival, which will now take place on December 24, 2025, instead of the initially scheduled December 26.
The event will still be held at the Accra Sports Stadium, and all previously purchased tickets remain valid for the new date.
In an official statement, Burniton Music Group (BMG) and the BHIM Festival Secretariat explained that the change was made to enhance the overall experience for fans, with a focus on security, crowd management, parking, and coordination with key public services. The organizers said the decision was taken “out of respect for our wonderful patrons” and in the interest of public safety.
The adjustment follows a date clash with the Black Star Experience’s Taste the Culture event, scheduled to take place near the festival’s venue. Despite the financial impact of the rescheduling, Stonebwoy’s team emphasized that the move reflects their dedication to ensuring a smooth and safe experience for attendees.
They also acknowledged the Ghana Tourism Authority for their cooperation and support. With the date now confirmed, the team says preparations are underway for an unforgettable celebration marking the 10th anniversary of the BHIM Festival.
