Ignore NDC’s baseless allegation about voter register – Justin Kodua

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has called the National Democratic Congress (NDC) claims about issues in the voters register unfounded.

At the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting on Tuesday, he stated that these allegations are not backed by evidence.

He mentioned that some individuals recently protested against the Electoral Commission, believing there were discrepancies aimed at helping the NPP cheat in the elections.

Mr. Kodua urged the NDC to take their claims to the Electoral Commission for proper examination. He pointed out that despite requests from various stakeholders, including the NPP, the NDC has not presented any valid concerns.

He suggested they hold a press conference to discuss these allegations openly.

He noted that the NDC has yet to submit their claims to the Electoral Commission, emphasizing that this should be recorded.

He expressed skepticism about the NDC’s assertions and challenged them to bring any further allegations for review to see if the Electoral Commission has addressed them.

The IPAC meeting aimed to discuss issues related to the voters’ register as the December 7 election nears.

Mr. Kodua reaffirmed the NPP’s trust in the integrity of the voters register and the Electoral Commission’s capability to handle any genuine concerns.
