NAPO Lauds NPP UK Branch

Presidential running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has praised the UK branch of the party for their commitment towards the progress of the party, especially going into the December 7 elections.

At a meeting with the executives of the branch in London, Dr Opoku Prempeh, also known as Napo expressed gratitude to them for the rich feedback he received at the meeting.

Taking to Facebook after the deliberations, Napo stated, “I enjoyed a productive meeting with NPP UK branch executives and some party elders during my short visit to the United Kingdom. Encouraging feedback received and promises of commitment towards our party’s progress. Grateful for the support.”

Napo will prove critics wrong
Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament ( MP) for Yendi, Farouk Aliu Mahama has expressed confidence in Dr Opoku Prempeh to prove his critics wrong. He was the conviction that Dr Opoku Prempeh will help garner votes for the NPP in the party’s stronghold of Ashanti Region.

Speaking on Asaase Radio on Friday, July 19, the Yendi MP said, “Napo speaks his mind, just like me. He doesn’t know how to pretend, Napo speaks his mind and he is a confident person.“

He further stated that someone who has been trained by royals can never have any sign or blood of arrogance in his system. “His father was a humble man. In politics, it is not all that everybody says about you, is right. But I believe it rather helps to shape him. If somebody says you are arrogant and you are not, you prove them wrong. He is always showing he is a humble person when he visits the chiefs even though he is a royal. He will definitely prove his critics wrong.”
