Bawumia Mourns Amoako Tuffour

The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, over the weekend joined President Akufo-Addo and other leading names in both Government and the New Patriotic party (NPP) to pay their last respects to the late Dr. Kwame Amoako Tuffour, a founder-member of the party.

Dr. Amoako Tuffour, until his death, was a Presidential Advisor at the Seat of Government and member of the National Council of Elders of the NPP.

“Dr. Amoako Tuffour’s contribution to the sustenance and growth of Ghana’s democratic development cannot be under-estimated. May his soul rest in peace”, Dr. Bawumia noted.

Other notables at the funeral include the Chief of Staff Hon. Frema Osei Opare, National Chairman Hon.Freddie Blay, General Secretary John Boadu and other NPP stalwarts.
