Prempeh I International Airport Comes Alive Today

All is set for the commissioning of the Prempeh I International Airport in Kumasi today, May 10, 2024.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will join His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to cut the tape to commission the airport.

The project is being commissioned 48 hours before the silver jubilee grand durbar of the Asantehene.
This means dignitaries attending the event will use the ultra modern facility.

Passengers
The airport will accommodate over 800,000 passengers annually. It is expected to massively transform the economy of Kumasi and the Ashanti Region.
