Otumfuo Dental Programme Reaches Ahafo

The Otumfuo-Smiles Dental Outreach project under the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation is undertaking a four-day exercise at New Sawereso in the Asunafo South District of the Ahafo Region.

The team, made up of dentists and allied professionals, started their outreach on June 24, and will complete on June 27.

Specifics
The oral and dental health activities being carried out by the professionals include education, screening , scaling , polishing, extraction and filling.

Officials of the exercise said, dental health is important for overall well-being. It is therefore, important for steps to be taken to protect the teeth. They assured to make decisions that are best for the programme’s oral hygiene journey.
