Napo Is Everywhere In Ashanti

With just two months to go until general elections, NPP vice presidential candidate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has been ramping up efforts in the party’s stronghold of Ashanti Region.

The ruling party has targeted between 80-85% of valid votes in the region as it seeks to make history with a third straight electoral victory.

Dr Opoku Prempeh ( Napo), a political powerhouse in the Ashanti Region, has been traversing the region campaigning in every corner to explain why Dr Mahamudu Bawumia should be voted for as President on December 7.

Flurry of Activities
Returning to the region last Friday, he has over the last three days, undertaken a flurry of activities in various parts of the region.

He was in Afigya Kwabre North, Afigya Kwabre South, Bantama, Manso Nkwanta and Manso Adubia constituencies where he had a number of engagements, telling the people why they should retain the NPP in government.

Moshie Community
On Saturday, Napo joined the 30th anniversary celebration of Chief Alhaji Abdul Ibrahim Rahman Adam Sanfo III, the Chief of the Moshie Community in the Ashanti Region.
He praised the chief for the exemplary leadership, service, and dedication to his people and indeed, Asanteman.

Church Activities
The NPP vice presidential candidate also worshipped with the congregation at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bantama as well as a number of churches in Manso Adubia.

Religious Harmony
In his remarks, he reaffirmed the NPP’s commitment to fostering religious harmony among all Ghanaians. “For us in the New Patriotic Party, we firmly believe that God reigns in the affairs of men, and we acknowledge His supremacy at every step of our journey,” he told the congregations.

Track Record
Napo reminded the congregations of the NPP’s strong track record in office, particularly in the agricultural sector and other critical areas of the economy.

Bawumia’s Vision
He shared Dr Bawumia’s vision to promote responsible mining practices, with a key initiative being the establishment of a Minerals Development Bank in collaboration with the private sector.
This bank, he said, will play a vital role in supporting sustainable growth in the mining industry.

Maternal Roots
Connecting with his maternal roots in Pakyi, where he addressed a mini-rally, he was encouraged by the relentless enthusiasm of the communities in the constituency, who are committed to standing courageously behind Dr Bawumia on December 7.

He urged them to canvass for both Dr Bawumia and their parliamentary candidate, Tweneboah Kodua Fokuo in every settlement.
