Intermittent power supply not dumsor – ECG
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has stated that the intermittent power supply in some areas of the country is not “dumsor”.
The company attributed the development to “local faults” rather than “dumsor”.
According to the company, it understands the impact of the situation on customers and is actively addressing all issues.
In a statement to customers on Sunday, January 21, 2024, the company stated, “While there is no dumsor, we are still working to enhance the stability of the power supply.”
