KGL Group Executive Chairman to speak at Africa Prosperity Dialogues
The Executive Chairman of KGL Group, Alex Apau Dadey is among a tall list of personalities billed to speak at the 2024 Africa Prosperity Dialogues ( APD 2024) to be held from January 25-27 at the Peduase Presidential Lodge, Aburi Hills.
Mr Dadey, who is also the Board Chairman of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), is a renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist with a successful career spanning over 30 years.
He has worked across various industries, including fintech, logistics, agriculture, property development, and commerce, where he has held several C-suite positions and served on the boards of multiple institutions.
Among other speakers are Patricia Obo-Nai CEO, Vodafone Ghana; Daniel McKorley, Chairman, McDan Group; Dr Ahunna Eziakonwa, Assistant Administrator and Regional Director, UNDP; Edward Koranteng, CEO, Minerals Income Investment Fund; Dr Amany Asfour, President of Africa Business Council; Alex Arnaud Assanvo, Executive Secretary, Côte d’Ivoire-Ghana Cocoa Initiative; and Patricia Poku Diaby, CEO, Plot Enterprise.
Organisation
Africa Prosperity Dialogues are organised by the Africa Prosperity Network (APN), a private not-for-profit organization established with a vision to promote Africa beyond aid, by creating the platforms for holding critical dialogues that will reshape the thinking of the leaders of the continent and guide them into taking the bold steps in the area of trade, commerce, the structure of national economies, political conduct and the culture that will bring prosperity to the people of Africa.
APD 2024 is being organized in collaboration with Africa Business Council, UNDP Africa, African Continental Free Trade Area Secretariat, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Africa-America Institute (AAI), Jubilee House, African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), Economic Commission for Africa, African Union, The Africa Report, UNDP Ghana, Citi TV, Citi 97.3 FM, African Development Bank Group, The Africa Soft Power Project, KGL Group and Asaase 99.5 FM.
Theme
To be held on the theme, “Delivering Prosperity in Africa: Produce. Value. Trade.,” the programme, which will be hosted by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will also have in attendance some Africa Heads of State.
It will provide a platform where Heads of State, business leaders, heads of international development institutions, and influential social change makers to discuss the enablers needed to propel Africa towards a shared vision of prosperity.
Lagos press briefing
Meanwhile, a press briefing, hosted by Tetracore has been held in Lagos ahead of the APD 2024.
Attending the briefing were APN directors, the AfCFTCA secretariat representatives, key executives of Tetracore Energy Group and members of the press.
