I know John Mahama very well; I’ll defeat him with NPP achievements, my vision – Bawumia

Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has said he knows how to defeat former President John Dramani Mahama in the 2024 elections.

The leading NPP flagbearer aspirant said he will confront the former President, who is the NDC flagbearer for next year’s elections with the unparalleled achievements of the NPP and his own vision. “And I am very optimistic that the former President will be beaten mercilessly,” he said.

Dr. Bawumia said this when he addressed party delegates during his campaign tour of some constituencies in the Bono and Bono East regions.

Constituencies visited
Dr. Bawumia visited Sunyani East, Sunyani West, Dormaa West, Dormaa East, Dormaa Central, Jaman North, Jaman South, Banda, Tain, Wenchi, Berekum West, and Sene West.

Delegates, in their numbers, turned up at the various meetings to listen to the message of the Vice President.
They cheered him on as he spoke, outlining his vision for the party and the country.

Initiatives
Dr Bawumia mentioned a number of initiatives he led under the Akufo-Addo government. These include the digitalisation programme, the 1 Constituency-1 Ambulance” policy, the Agenda 111 hospital projects, the Gold for oil policy, and the drone delivery project.

These initiatives, he said, have impacted people, businesses, communities and the country. He challenged former President Mahama to tell Ghanaians his legacies in his long political career.

The Vice President urged the delegates to give him full support on November 4, promising that he will lead the party to victory in the general elections. He also called for unity among party members , urging them to stop attacking one another.
