Election 2024: Juaben will show gratitude to NPP – Nana Otuo Siriboe

The Juabenhene, Nana Otuo Siriboe II, has assured the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that the traditional area will show gratitude to the party in the upcoming elections.

He lauded the NPP government for the unprecedented transformation it has brought to the Juaben municipality, and indicated that the people will not turn their back to the party as it seeks to break the 8-year election cycle.

Speaking when the NPP presidential running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, a.k.a. Napo allied on him at his palace on Wednesday, August 27, as part of his campaign tour of the Ashanti Region, the Omanhene indicated that, Juaben will not turn its back at the NPP.

Infrastructure
Touching on infrastructure development, Nana Otuo Siriboe who is also the chairman of the Council of State, said Juaben has benefited from massive road projects including asphalted roads , something unseen of in its history. Other projects he mentioned are in the electrification, education and health sectors.

 

Napo’s role
The Omanhene spoke highly of Napo for the instrumental role he played in the Juaben streetlights project. “To my grandson Napo, let me tell you that , you are one of us, don’t waste your time coming here to campaign because we are all for you. I’ll advise that you take your campaign to other areas,” he stated.

Collaboration
Napo said it was an honour to receive blessings from Nana Otuo Siriboe.

Later, addressing a gathering of traditional leaders, clergy, and community members, the NPP running mate emphasized Dr Bawumia’s commitment to collaborating with them in the nation’s development.

Trust in Bawumia
He encouraged the people to place their trust in Dr Bawumia and the NPP parliamentary candidate of the Juaben constituency, highlighting the party’s continued commitment to fostering economic prosperity.

He extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Juabenhene for his support and eagerly anticipate Juaben’s solid backing for the elephant.
