Manhyia South: Constituents show gratitude to MP for sponsoring their skills training

Beneficiaries of various skills training in the Manhyia South Constituency have expressed appreciation to their Member of Parliament (MP), Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh for funding their training and also supporting them with the equipment required for their start-ups.

The beneficiaries, who include fashion designers, hairdressers, make-up artists and computer programmers called on the MP who is also the Minister of Energy on Friday, October 27, 2023 to show their appreciation.

Full professionals
In his brief remarks, Dr Opoku Prempeh said it was heartwarming and exciting that the trainees have become full professionals, plying their trade for the benefit of not only themselves but their families and by extension, the entire country.

Welfare
The MP reiterated his firm belief in the welfare of the people which is the central theme of the political enterprise.
He said no human being is useless on earth and therefore his conviction as a politician is to ensure that he contributes meaningfully to the future well-being of the youth.

No complacency
Dr Opoku Prempeh stated that the recognition given him does not in any way make him complacent.
Consequently, he prayed to God to continue to grant him the needed capacity to do more not just for the people of Manhyia South, but all the people he comes into contact with, regardless of their persuasions.

Opening of new office
Later, the MP formally opened the new Manhyia South Secretariat of the New Patriotic Party as part of efforts at strengthening the operations of the party in the constituency, ahead of the 2024 elections.
Present was the Manhyia South Constituency Chairman of the NPP, Richard Adjei Mensah Ofori Atta.
