Bawumia Laces Boots To Shake Ashanti Region

Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party ( NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will round off his retail campaign with a visit to the party’s stronghold of Ashanti Region next week.

He will spend three days canvassing for votes ahead of the elections.

Activities
Dr Bawumia will meet religious leaders, traditional leaders, market women, the youth and other identifiable groups to sell his vision to them.

Reenergize
His entry to the Ashanti Region is expected for reenergize the party’s massive following in the region. Ashanti remains a crucial base for the NPP, as it produces the highest number of votes for the party in every election.

Youth
Throughout his tours, the flagbearer has made it clear that the youth represents the nation’s most important resource, and therefore he cherishes sharing with them, his youth-centred policies, which are designed to empower them through education and skills training, as well as to create more job opportunities for them.
