Angry Techiman Eleven Wonders supporters chase out coach
Some angry supporters of Ghana Premier League side, Techiman Eleven Wonders, reportedly prevented the team’s head coach Ignatius Osei Fosu from entering the training grounds on Wednesday, citing poor performances.
Assistant coach, Fuseini Abubakar, had to step in to take the team through training drills.
Eleven Wonders are occupying the 15th position of the Ghana domestic top-flight with just a point above the relegation zone.
According to sources, management of the team has asked Fosu to step aside for his own safety.
Fosu started the season well and received widespread praise following a 1-1 draw game with league leaders Asante Kotoko.
They followed that up with a 2-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs, but they lost steam along the line after they went the next five games without a win.
The team has won just five games in 20 games this season.
