La Liga: FC Barcelona mount comeback to beat Atletico Madrid 3-1 at Camp Nou

Barcelona overturned an early scare to defeat Atletico Madrid 3–1 at the Camp Nou, extending their unbeaten run and tightening their grip on the La Liga title race.

Atletico struck first in the 19th minute when Álex Baena finished off a swift attacking move to stun the home crowd. Barcelona had a quick chance to respond, but Robert Lewandowski missed a penalty moments later, dragging his effort wide.

The hosts, however, regained control. Raphinha leveled the score in the 26th minute with a calm finish after a flowing build-up from midfield. Barcelona’s dominance increased after the break, and Dani Olmo completed the comeback in the 65th minute, firing into the bottom corner despite battling through a shoulder knock.

Atletico pressed for a late equalizer, but Barcelona’s backline—anchored by Joan Garcia, Pau Cubarsí, and Gerard Martín—held firm throughout a tense closing period. With the visitors pushed forward, Ferran Torres sealed the win deep into stoppage time, tapping in at 90+6 after a quick counterattack.

The result marks Barcelona’s fifth straight league victory and pushes them four points clear of Real Madrid in the standings, adding momentum to their title push as the season enters its decisive phase.
