Black Queens to play Ivory Coast in two friendly matches ahead of WAFCON

Black Queens will take on Ivory Coast in two away international friendly matches scheduled for May 30 and June 3, 2025.

Led by head coach Kim Lars Björkegren, the Ghanaian women’s national team continues preparations for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.

These friendlies are expected to provide the team with valuable match experience as they build momentum toward the continental tournament.

Since March, the Black Queens have been engaged in a series of international games aimed at fine-tuning their squad ahead of WAFCON. The upcoming encounters with Ivory Coast form part of this preparation strategy.

The squad for the matches will be announced in the coming days.
