Sonnie Badu warns Christians: AI could dominate churches without action

Gospel musician and preacher Sonnie Badu has expressed deep concern over the rapid and unregulated rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI), warning that it could eventually challenge the role of God and disrupt the spiritual foundation of the Church.

In a message shared on social media, Badu described AI as a force that, if not kept in check, may soon lead people to believe that God is no longer necessary.

Highlighting the speed at which AI is developing, he called for a spiritual awakening among believers, especially those he referred to as the “sons of God,” to take their positions and limit the dominance of human intelligence. “If we don’t rise, soon even church temples will be taken over by AI.,” he cautioned, adding that spiritual leaders must rise to maintain a balance between innovation and divine guidance.

“This is just a son of Issachar telling you the time and season we are stepping into,” he wrote, urging believers to stay spiritually alert in the face of what he calls an end-time revelation.
