If the election was football match, I would have beaten Mahama 33-0 – Bawumia
New Patriotic Party flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said if the election was to be a football match, he would have beaten his main opponent, John Mahama 33-0.
Explaining, he said while as Vice President, he has championed 33 impactful policies, Mr Mahama, who is a former President has nothing to his credit.
He was speaking at a mammoth rally at Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Constituency of the Central Region on Monday, September 2.
Impactful Veep
With a roaring crowd urging him on, Vice President Bawumia said, “There is no question that I’ve been the most impactful and efficient Vice President in the history of our country. “I have championed 33 policies to support Ghana’s growth , compared to former President Mahama who has not even one. So if we were to be playing football, the score will be 33-0.”
Brand new President
On that score, he appealed to Ghanaians to vote for him to bring on board new ideas to advance national development. “As I have said, I have never been President so if you vote for me you’ll get a brand new tear-rubber President,” he stated.
Police Headquarters
Dr Bawumia also inaugurated a Regional Police Headquarters for the recently created Central East Police Region at Kasoa.
He thanked the chiefs, market women, trotro drivers, and all other residents of Kasoa, Ofaakor and the surrounding communities for their energetic welcome and support for his transformation agenda.
