Stay Focused, Do Your Best For Gov’t And Country — Sefwi Wiawso Omanhene To NAPO

The Omanhene of Sefwi Wiawso Traditional Area, Katakyie Kwasi Bumagama II, has urged the Energy Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, to remain focused in doing his best for his government and country.

He said the Manhyia South MP has been of great service to the government and nation, and encouraged him to keep going as a responsible public official.

The Omanhene gave the advice when Dr. Prempeh paid a courtesy visit to him at his palace at Sefwi Wiawso in the Western North Region on Monday, May 13.

During the visit, the Minister and the Omanhene discussed issues of national interest especially in pursuit of their roles as agents of development.

Greater things
Katakyie Bumagama who spoke highly of Dr. Prempeh as a politician, said he has a promising future, with greater things lying ahead of him. The Omanhene wished him well as he continue to work in the interest of Ghana.

Productive
Dr. Prempeh, popularly known as Napo, described his visit as productive. “It is a pleasure for me to be paying a courtesy visit to you, Katakyie. You’ve been like a father to me and I hold you in high esteem, “he told the Omanhene.

Words of motivation
Dr. Prempeh said he was encouraged by the words of motivation from Katakyie. “I thus, remain focused in doing my best as a public official for my country,” he added.

NPP campaign
Whilst on his way back to Accra, the Minister bumped into an NPP operational campaign team monitoring the limited voter registration exercise in the Western North Region.

“Refreshing on my way back from Sefwi Wiawso was bumping into an operational machinery of the New Patriotic Party led by our National Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye, touring registration centres in the on-going limited voter registration exercise in the Western North Region. The NPP has always viewed elections as a process and not an event and so we are leaving no stone unturned in our quest to present ourselves as the most credible political organization to the Ghanaian people,” Dr. Prempeh stated.
