You’re A Fantastic Unifier – Bono Religious Leaders Eulogise Dr. Bawumia

Religious leaders in the Bono Region have praised Vice President and flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for being a champion of inter-faith dialogue and unity in Ghana.

At a meeting between Dr. Bawumia, and the clergy and leaders of faith-based organizations in Sunyani on Wednesday, May 8, they said, the Vice President has proved to be a fantastic unifier. The meeting marked the start of the flagbearer’s two-day tour of the Bono Region. The religious leaders prayed for Dr. Bawumia and wished him well in his quest to become President.

Vision
Dr. Bawumia shared his vision with the religious leaders. From religion to education, health, digitalization and other initiatives, he spelt out how he wants to take the nation to another level of development.

Solemn exercise
Later, he posted on his social media handles, “I started my tour of the Bono Region with the clergy and leaders of faith-based organizations. “It was a solemn spiritual exercise to begin the tour with, and I am grateful to the religious leaders for their prayers, views, and wise counsel.”
