What’s the name of that yellow party? Mahama forgets Alan

President-Elect John Dramani Mahama appears to have forgotten the existence of Alan Kyerematen’s Movement for Change.

Addressing the watch-night service at the Sanctuary of Wind and Fire Assemblies of God in Tamale on December 31, Mr Mahama could only remember the colour of the Movement, as he sought the collaboration of all political parties to build the country under his incoming administration.

“All of us, National Democratic Congress, New Patriotic Party, and erm erm the yellow party , what is their name,“ Mahama asked to laughter from the congregation.

After he was provided with the name of Alan’s Movement, Mahama quickly added it to the list of parties he is seeking their support including the Convention People’s Party, People’s National Congress, and All People’s Congress. He asked them, to get on board to reconstruct the country.

Mahama noted that only national unity and collective action could tackle the country’s challenges.
