Utilise experience in career progressions – Energy Minister urges outgoing National Service personnel
The Minister of Energy, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has urged the 2022/2023 National Service cohort of the Ministry to fully utilize the lessons and experiences acquired over the last 12 months in their career progressions.
At a send-off ceremony for the personnel in Accra on Thursday, October 5, 2023, the Minister said they are going into the next phase of their careers with a lot of positives, which should guide them in their future endeavours.
Hard work
Dr. Opoku Prempeh also asked them to adhere to the values of hard work, honesty and professionalism.
He explained that such values are key to their growth and advancement.
The Minister further asked them to continue to keep in touch with the ministry for good reasons as they enter the next phase of their lives.
He congratulated the outgoing National Service Personnel on their end of tour of duty to the nation.
Worthy ambassadors
For her part, the Chief Director at the Ministry, Wilhelmina Asamoah, urged them to be worthy ambassadors of the ministry. That, they should do by exuding characteristics of self discipline, among other positive traits.
