Three Killed, Including Child, in Binduri Attack Linked to Bawku Conflict

Three people were killed and two others injured when unidentified gunmen attacked their home in the Binduri District of the Upper East Region on Sunday, October 26, 2025. This attack is believed to be related to the ongoing Bawku conflict.

Among the deceased was a five-year-old child, and one of the injured individuals is George Bukari, the manager of Binduri-based Maxx Empire Radio and TV.

The Bawku conflict, has resulted in multiple fatalities and displaced numerous families. In a separate incident, a mentally challenged man was reportedly shot dead by military personnel in Daduri, a suburb of Bawku, further escalating tensions in the area.
