Bawumia receives manifesto proposals from Muslim Conference

The National Muslim Conference (NMC) has presented its proposals for consideration in the New Patriotic Party’s ( NPP )2024 Manifesto.

The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu and the leadership of the conference presented the proposals to the NPP flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, in the presence of the leadership of his campaign and manifesto committees, in Accra yesterday, February 29.

Inclusive development
While reiterating the NPP’s commitment to inclusive development, Dr Bawumia presented to the NMC, the massive infrastructure and other development projects the government has undertaken in Zongos across the country.

The projects include classroom blocks, ICT libraries, mechanised water systems, entrepreneurial training, scholarships and astro turfs, funded through the Zongo Development Fund, which were established in fulfilment of the government’s campaign promise.

Commitment
“We remain committed to the development of our country through policies and structures, and my campaign and manifesto team, are ready to consider inputs from the NMC, and other stakeholders, for our inclusive development,” Dr Bawumia stated.
