Stephen Ntim has what it takes to steer NPA – Energy Minister extols virtues of new board chairman
Energy Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh on Tuesday, May, 21, swore into office, the newly appointed Board Chairman of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Stephen Ayesu Ntim.
Mr Ntim is the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Key priorities
At the ceremony, Dr. Prempeh , a.k.a. Napo charged the new chairman of the downstream regulator to focus on key priorities of the organisation.
The priorities include strengthening regulatory frameworks, enhancing operational efficiencies, and ensuring that the NPA operates with the highest standards of integrity and accountability.
Capabilities
The Minister said Mr Ntim is not new to leadership. “Therefore, I have no doubt that he has what it takes to steer the NPA to achieve its objectives for the benefit of all Ghanaians,” he added.
Acceptance
In his response, Mr Ntim assured that he would work with his team to advance the course of the NPA.
