Saturday’s Elections: Let’s Choose Progress Over Retrogression – NAPO
Saturday’s elections represent a choice between progress and retrogression, NPP vice presidential candidate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has asserted.
He said, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia stands out as the the obvious choice for a progressive Ghana.
In a video shared on his social media handles on Tuesday, December 3, Dr Prempeh, a.k.a. NAPO stated, “ This is the moment we decide whether Ghana moves forward or goes back . Please, let’s choose progress over retrogression. I trust Dr Bawumia and I assure you, trusting him, you’ll not be let down. He will come back to you to account for his leadership and to prove beyond doubt that it is possible.”
Not a revenge
NAPO indicated that the elections should not be seen as a revenge or protest vote against the NPP, because someone is unhappy or have issues with some people.
“It is about your future, our future, the future of your children and the future of our motherland, Ghana,” he explained.
The NPP vice presidential candidate noted that after eight years in government, it is likely that some people may feel pained, toes stepped upon, and some expectations unmet. “But consider the difficult circumstances of the past few years and let’s focus on the future and not on the past. This election is not about us, it’s about you, your families and the generations to come,” he explained.
Service to nation
Further extolling the virtues of his boss, NAPO said, “ I’ve witnessed Dr Mahamudu Bawumia poured his soul and heart into serving the nation.
“He is not just a leader, he is a man on a mission, deeply committed to the wellbeing of every Ghanaian. “
He added that the leadership demonstrated by Dr Bawumia is not about personal, but about the people , the ordinary Ghanaian, and with the determination to lead the nation to the height he has dreamt of.
“It has been a lifeline bringing hope where hope seems lost. We have lifted families, strengthened communities and built a foundation for a future we can all believe in. “Under the leadership of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, this legacy will not only continue, it will flourish. Under his leadership, Ghana will be ushered into a new chapter in which every citizen can dream big knowing that their government stands with them and is ready to make those dreams a reality.” NAPO said as President, Dr Bawumia will not run a family and friends government Rather, it will be a government for all Ghanaians.
Mahama not the choice
NAPO said, unlike John Mahama who has no policy credibility, managed Ghana incompetently, had no integrity and failed on all issues, Dr Bawumia has no option than to succeed. “7th December we are going to vote for the future of the country. Trust and vote for Dr Bawumia and the NPP because that is the only party that can deliver.“
