From the very least of our grassroots as a party to the highest echelon of our fraternity, Sammi Awuku had been enviably instrumental in our quest to retain power in the 2020 elections, Parliamentary and Presidential.His contributions towards our victory in this year’s tight race has been inestimable.

As National Organizer of our party, Sammi Awuku led a formidably composed campaign team and launched a vigorous campaign that toured the length and breath of the country. Notable parliamentary seats in the Nothern and Savannah Regions of the country were claimed for the NPP because of the assiduous and overwhelming works of Sammi Awuku.

Indeed, one can state emphatically, without any shred of fear that Sammi Awuku appealed to the electorates one of the most among other top ranking executives of the party.

As a matter of fact, one can make an unequivocal, empirical statement that a significant number of the topmost executives of the party did not work harder in securing the party’s victory. This explains why very critical seats that were held by the NPP have been lost.

Nevertheless, Sammi stood out exceptionally tall, touching lives at the grassroots, coordinating crucial activities for the party and hitting hard at the opponent where it hurts the most. Clearly, he’s one of the finest fellows on our side whose immense contributions have rescued us from a near electoral defeat. Of all the valued qualities that have been noticed in Sammi, the most sublime is his unparalleled generosity and enviable humility.

He genuflects even to the commonest of people. It’s clear that, the fact that he’s humble, makes him one of the most admirable politicians in Ghana’s contemporary politics. Apparently, this is why many youths today, including those of the opposing parties look up to Sammi as a role model. Sammi Awuku has an incredible ability to positively impact the youth. That undoubtedly is the result of enormous understanding he has for the ordinary people.

Wherever Sammi finds himself, he’s better able to adapt swiftly to the ways of the people. He appeals to the people by the warm, magical and eloquent flow of his words. How Sammi relates with the youth is superb, to state the minimum. The footprint Sammi left behind during the electioneering moment would be indelible, particularly in the Northern Regions.

Finally, and most importantly, i feel Sammi has a future in modern politics. A future that requires collective nurturing, a future that is yet to be discovered, a future that must not be hindered by anyone for their selfish gains, a future that would eradicate the breeding of antagonisms among party adherent, a future that is promising for the youth, a future that holds the great elephant fraternity in high esteem and a future that would ensure that the party never gets disunited whatever it may cost.

When this future comes, God willing, it’s my utmost optimism that, it would be granted a space to thrive.
