Presidency rubbishes allegations of politically-motivated changes in Ghana Armed Forces
The Office of the President has dismissed allegations of politically-motivated changes in the hierarchy of the Ghana Armed Forces with the aim of using the military to brutalize Ghanaians during the conduct of the December 7 General Elections.
A statement issued by the Presidency on January 4, 2024, signed by the Director of Communications, Eugene Arhin, said the allegations are unfounded, and assured that the general elections would be conducted in a fair, free and transparent manner, devoid of violence.
