Police announce road closures in the capital ahead of Prez Nana Addo’s swearing in
The police have announced road closures in parts of the capital, Accra, ahead of the swearing-in of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Thursday. A statement issued by the police advised the public to observe the road traffic arrangements for the events to enhance free flow of traffic for motorists.
The police say some principal streets in the capital including Osu Cemetery area, Castle route from AU Circle to Osu Cemetery traffic light, Cross route to Starlet 91 streets, Independence Square, Gamel Abdul Nasser Road, Opeibea to 37 Interchange, Ako Adjei and Liberation Road will be closed to the public. The service has, however, earmarked some diversions to facilitate movement of motorists in the capital.
