Participate in 2024 elections – Haruna Iddrisu tells Ghanaian youth

Former Minority Leader and Tamale South MP Haruna Iddrisu has called for active youth participation in the December elections.

Speaking at a forum in Kumasi, Haruna Iddrisu said voting is the most effective way to bring about change.

Despite acknowledging widespread youth disillusionment, he urged young Ghanaians to exercise their civic duty, suggesting that electing a new leader could address their concerns.

“Ghana is going through crucial presidential and parliamentary elections, as young people, dedicate yourselves to exercising your civic constitutional duty in a manner that is responsible and in a manner that guarantees peace, and in a manner that guarantees the existence of our country.

“Ghana is all we have. Therefore, all of you must dedicate a commitment to preserving the peace and tranquillity of our community,” Haruna Iddrisu urged.
