Outrage Over Alleged Perks for New Presidential Staffer: Stan Dogbe Fires Back

A Deputy Chief of Staff, Stan Dogbe, has challenged shocking claims regarding the benefits to be received by Rosemond Obeng, a newly appointed Senior Presidential Staffer at the Office of the President.

In response to the revelations, which have sparked significant discussion, Dogbe remarked, “Even I am not enjoying these benefits.”

Since Sunday, social media has been abuzz with alleged details about the perks afforded to Rosemond, who previously served as a front desk staff member for former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The reported benefits have generated considerable outrage online. They include travel allowances ranging from $800 to over $1,500 per day for international trips, along with business class tickets for those journeys. Additionally, she is said to be entitled to medical trips abroad for specific cases and fuel allowances of up to 500 to 1,000 gallons per month. Furthermore, she reportedly qualifies for an optional leave allowance equivalent to one month’s salary.

In reaction to the circulating claims, Dogbe commented on a Facebook post, “Even I, as a Deputy Chief of Staff, am not enjoying these! Journalism has truly been thrown to the dogs by some of these marauding online tabloids!”
