Our Polls Driven by Data, Free from Bias – Global InfoAnalytics

The Executive Director and Head of Global Research at Global Info Analytics, Mussa Dankwah, has denied allegations of bias in the organisation’s recent polls ahead of the New Patriotic Party’s internal elections scheduled for January 2026.

A recent poll by the organisation placed former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the lead in the NPP’s presidential race.

During an interview at the International Hausa Day celebration in Ghana, organised by the Zongo-Hausa Youth Association under the auspices of Sarkin Zango Palace in Kumasi on Tuesday, August 26, he stressed that his research is based on data and facts, and he remains unfazed by critics.

“As far as we are concerned we believe in data…Sometimes I do a poll and I don’t feel well about it but that is not my view, that is the view of the people. So it doesn’t matter what numbers say we will say it as it is. We have no interest in declaring somebody a winner or a loser.”

On the Akwatia by-election, Dankwah announced that his organisation’s predictions on the outcome will be released on Friday, August 29.

In another development, he urged Ghanaians to end the stigma against Hausa people, stressing that a person’s name should not be a barrier to accessing their rights.

The researcher also encouraged Zongo youth to help combat illicit drug abuse in their communities.
