NSA withdraws appointments of volunteers

The National Service Authority (NSA) has terminated the appointments for all volunteers across its offices as part of a restructuring initiative.
The decision, which takes effect from February 28, 2025, was disclosed in an official statement released on Tuesday, February 25, and signed by Felix Gyamfi, Director General for NSA.
According to the statement, an exception will be made for districts with only one staff member, where a single volunteer will be retained to assist. Additionally, those managing vacant districts will be allowed to keep one assistant, cleaner, catering staff, and farm personnel to ensure continued operations.
The NSA expressed appreciation for the dedication, hard work, and commitment of the affected volunteers throughout their service.
The communiqué further instructed the Heads of Departments (HODs), Unit Heads, and Regional Directors to retrieve all NSA property, including laptops, documents, and motorbikes, from the outgoing volunteers before the deadline.
