NPP Running Mate Welcomes Wife To Campaign Trail
New Patriotic Party ( NPP ) running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh has welcomed his wife, Alma Pokua Adade-Prempeh to the election campaign trail ahead of the upcoming general elections.
On Saturday, August 31, Mrs Prempeh visited her maternal family home at the Odododiodoo Constituency to seek the blessings of family elders to join Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and her husband on the campaign trail.
Some 24 hours later, Dr Opoku Prempeh, a.k.a. Napo took to Facebook to welcome his better half to the terrain. “Welcome to the contest of ideas, sweetheart,” he posted on his Facebook page.
Heartwarming
In her massage, Mrs Prempeh said it is heartwarming and a beautiful time for her to join the campaign. She was acompanied to the family house by the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, and national, regional and constituency executives of the NPP.
Love and support
She described the love and support she received from her family as truly uplifting. “The prayers and words of encouragement only strengthen my determination to work hand in hand with my husband towards success in the upcoming elections,” she stated.
Gratitude
She expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support shown by the many party supporters who joined her to witness the momentous occasion. “Your presence uplifted me, and I am thankful for your unwavering faith in the party, our presidential candidate, and my husband,” she added.
