NPP records far better than NDC – NAPO asserts as he tours Ashanti Region
On a day that he kicked off his Ashanti Regional consitituency-focused campaign tour, NPP running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh said the NDC cannot match the records of the NPP in the governance of the country.
He said the destiny of the country cannot be handed to the NDC, and therefore called on Ghanaians to vote massively for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and NPP parliamentary candidates to ‘break the 8’ and continue the good works.
Dr Opoku Prempeh, affectionately known as Napo, is accompanied on the tour by NPP firebrand, Kennedy Agyapong, and the Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi-Boasiako.
Napo was in the Asante Akyem South, Asante Akyem Central and Bosome Freho Constituencies on Thursday, August 15.
NPP’s Records
Addressing separate gatherings of traditional authority, Christian and Muslim clergy, as well as the youth, Napo reminded them of the NPP’s unmatched track-record in government, as well as the determination to strengthen the education and health sectors, with a strong emphasis on job creation.
Ghana Under Bawumia
He said Ghana’s future under Dr Mahamudu Bawumia looks promising.
Bompatahene Lauds Government
At Bompata in the Asante Akyem South Constituency, the Omanhene, Nana Effah Apenteng, commended the NPP government for the unprecedented developments it has brought to his area.
He mentioned the projects to include road construction, schools and health facilities.
